Your dog lives with Elaine for 14-21 days, receiving multiple structured training sessions every single day. This is the fastest path to real behavioral change—especially for dogs with serious challenges or for owners with demanding schedules.

Puppy Training
The critical socialization window (8–16 weeks) is the most important time in your puppy’s life. We guide you through building confidence, preventing common problem behaviors, and establishing a foundation that makes every future training easy.

Frequently Asked
How many sessions will my dog need?
Every dog is different. After your initial assessment, Elaine will recommend a specific plan. Most behavior goals are reached in 3-6 sessions, with ongoing practice at home in between.
Do you use punishment or aversive methods?
No. Boardwalk Dog Training is built on clear communication, structured expectations, and positive reinforcement. We believe dogs thrive when they understand what is expected of them.
What if my dog has serious aggression or reactivity?
Elaine has extensive experience with reactive and difficult dogs. Board & Train is often the most effective option for serious cases. Contact us for an honest assessment.
Can my whole family participate in sessions?
For best results, sessions are limited to 1-2 primary adult handlers. Children should not be present during training. Once skills are solid, you can involve the family in practice.
What's included in the go-home session for Board & Train?
A dedicated 90-minute handoff session where Elaine walks you through every command, shows you what your dog has learned, and gives you a full written training plan to maintain the results.
